Bobbie Gentile - President/CEO

Prior to opening Q-Mark, Inc. in 1990, Bobbie was employed for 11 years with SAI Marketing Corporation as Manager of the Dayton Office and Military Division as well as two years in factory direct sales with Amphenol Corporation. Bobbie brings 31 years experience as a manufacturers’ representative, successfully marketing a large product mix in the electronic sales arena. She has been instrumental in creating and implementing sales training sessions at both the distributor and OEM levels. Her intimate knowledge of military procurement procedures gives our represented principals a competitive edge. Bobbie’s marketing knowledge encompasses electromechanical and electronic components, as well as computers and computer peripheral products.


Charles Gelm - General Manager/Sales/IT

(ND, SD, NE, KS, MO, N. IN, MI, KY)

Charles has over 15 years of customer service experience, 10 years of management, and 12 years in Information Technology.  His strong technical background gives him the aptitude to succeed in the electronics field. In addition to his duties as our General Manager, Charles also provides service in government sales, and commercial sales in Michigan, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, and North and South Dakota.



Chris Baker - Inside Sales Manager 


Chris has nearly 20 years of management, sales and customer service experience, and has been with Q-Mark for over a decade.  He began his career in Quality Control at an automotive plant, where he was trained in ISO 9001 compliance.  He went on to manage the production department at a data archiving facility, where he supervised a team of employees and traveled to customer sites for sales and client training.  He also studied electrical engineering, physics, mathematics and public speaking in college.  


His responsibilities include inside Commercial sales support for our outside sales force, as well as managing supplier portals for our larger clients.  He works with engineers and buyers on new programs, from initial design through quoting, ordering and expediting components.  His past work history also enables him to assist with quality and compliance issues.  


Rick Smith - Outside Sales

(OH, S. IN, W.PA)

Rick Smith is covering OH, W.Pa, S. In. After high-school Rick studied Electro-Mechanical Engineering for some time before joining the Airforce. Serving from 1995 – 1999 building, fuzing, and testing Mk-82, Mk-84, GBU-10, GBU-12, GBU-24, and JDAM bomb systems, AIM-9 Sidewinder, Aim -120 AMRAAM missles, and ground support equipment for both the F-117, F-4, and F-16 aircraft. Becoming a Team Leader in 1997 Rick has in charge of build schedule and oversite during two deployments to Kuwait. Rick was later responsible for overseeing Inspection and accountability for $3.5 Million worth of munition system components.


After getting out Rick returned to school and became a Journeyman Industrial, Commercial Electrician. Rick oversaw and was responsible for large parts of many jobs which included CCTV, Building Control / Automation, Fire Alarm and Security systems.


In 2006 Rick went to work for a local Audio Video Design Center here in Centerville, OH. Some of his responsibilities were Customer Service, System Design and Engineering, Lead installation, Sales, Programming Automation/Video/Audio Systems.

Brett Fisher - Military Sales Manager

Brett’s credentials include 17 years in customer service management and sales. Brett has a successful track record of increasing sales while providing the optimum in customer satisfaction. His duties include inside sales for the government.

Jeanette Meyer - Military Sales

Paula Johnson - Administative Assistant

Jeanette’s responsibilities include several levels of support for our Military Division. From entering data into our internal systems to quoting and proof-reading government contracts, her attention to detail, multi-tasking and organizational skills are impeccable. Jeanette’s ambitious attitude has resulted in the advancement within the company from an administrative position into sales. Her positive and professional demeanor has resulted into a respected relationship with our manufacturing and government clients. With over 15 years of customer service, including a general manager position in the restaurant industry, Jeanette also has handled the responsibilities of day to day finances, payroll, employee schedules and product control.

Paula has more than 20 years of Administrative experience in diverse business settings which include Real Estate, Healthcare Insurance, Construction and Manufacturing.  She is a highly organized and friendly professional, able to establish long term and positive relationships with clients, co-workers and outside resources.  Paula is skilled in working independently and she is an enthusiastic team player.  Her skills include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Quick Books.  She is also a Notary Public.


In her current role as Administrative Assistant at Q-Mark, she assists the Military and Commercial teams with booking and maintaining sales.  She is the assistant to the President and General Manager and maintains their calendars for appointments and meetings, arranges hotels for our Outside Sales Reps when they travel and for any incoming visitors.  She creates and completes expense reports, enters invoices into Quick Books, creates new hire paperwork for HR.  She is also responsible for maintaining and ordering the office supplies, toners and copy paper and maintains filing system and literature materials.


As a member of the Q-Mark team, she work on monthly Win/Loss reports, Order reports and corrections and deal with office organization and filing Monthly Reports, Order Reports & Corrections.

Madi Meyer - Military Support

Steve was a Cop, a Rock and Roll night club owner featuring live bands, and a manufacturers rep in business with his step Dad Lorrey Guarrero from 1994 -2007, GFI was the name of their firm.  He then went direct with Harwin Interconnect as a Regional Manager from 2007 -2016.

In March 2017 he joined the Q-Mark Inc. team as an outside sales representative working in the Midwest.


Steve is active in his community. He's the President and Director of Training at the German Shepherd Dog Training Club of Chicago in Hanover Park IL. He trains people to train their dogs of all breeds. His personal dog is a German Shepherd Dog.


Steve is also involved in his church as an Elder and also as a trainer and handler of their Comfort Dog Zippy.(Golden retriever)   When he's not with a dog, he might be seen riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Steve's a diehard season ticket holding Chicago Bears Fan and Tailgater extraordinaire and a big fan of the Chicago Blackhawks and White Sox. Not the Cubs.


Steve has raised four kids and now has 9 Grandchildren, all living in IL within an hours drive of his humble abode.
